Sugar Beet - PTFB - Blurb from 6.16
Hey there and hello!
The Sugar Beet crowd showed up ready to play this week again, bringing big energy, big voices, and just enough competitive spirit to make everyone suspicious of their neighbor’s bingo card. With guest host John leading the night, the room settled in for another round of music, memories, and mayhem.
Round 1 opened with Hitsville USA, covering the best from the ’60s through the ’90s. The nostalgia hit immediately. People were singing, swaying, and confidently belting out lyrics they remembered… or at least thought they remembered. Bingo Achievers appeared early, and the room found its groove fast.
Round 2 dropped us under the Disco Ball, where glitter, groove, and questionable dance moves reign supreme. The vibe shifted into full‑on party mode, and it became clear that some of you have been practicing your disco steps for years—while others were improvising with impressive enthusiasm.
Right in the middle of the night, we hit our Dance Break, and the room absolutely came alive. Tables emptied, hips loosened, and for a few minutes the entire venue turned into one big, joyful dance floor. Whether you were showing off polished moves or just vibing with the beat, you helped keep the energy soaring.
Round 3 took us Flying High, and suddenly the whole room was ready for takeoff. The harmonies got louder, the dancing got bolder, and every table seemed to be auditioning for its own in‑flight entertainment crew. The energy was sky‑high from start to finish.
The Final Round brought us back to the 1970s, an era of unforgettable music, iconic voices, and enough personality to fill the entire venue. Achievers surged toward the finish line, and the crowd’s singing hit its peak. Whether it was the playlist, the excitement, or a perfectly timed second beverage, the room sounded fantastic.
When the Winners’ Wheel finally settled, congratulations went out to Anne S., Lois G., Donna P., and Linda P. — a winning mix of timing, skill, and just the right amount of luck.
Thank you to everyone who came out, sang along, danced along, played along, and helped create another great night at Sugar Beet. Nights like this prove that bingo may bring us together, but it’s the music — and the people — that keep everyone coming back.
