Sugar Beet Market – Play That Funky Bingo – Blurb from 2/17/26

Sugar Beet Market showed up big for the last Funky Bingo night — the kind of evening where everyone walked in already laughing and at least three people announced they were “feeling lucky” before the first card even hit the table. Round 1 kicked off a brief celebration of Mardi Gras with player "Knuckles" (?) as our first winner of the night.

T.S. grabbed the first bingo on 80’s 3, and suddenly the whole room remembered how competitive they get when the music starts. Round 3 rolled into Tasty Tunes, where terri d snagged the first bingo and half the room tried to sing along even though the lyrics were… let’s call it “interpretive.” Round 4’s Man oh Man failed to live up to its name when Lin hit the first bingo.

Then came the prize round, where the spreadsheet decided to express itself creatively. Only one name survived the Great Save Glitch of 2026, so Joan B now holds the prestigious honor of being the only fully documented prize winner of the night. The remaining prizes were absolutely awarded — they just now live in the mysterious “Lost info” category, which feels very on‑brand for February.

Your Bonus Win for 3/3/26 is a seasonal masterpiece: draw a puddle of water that hopefully represents our FINAL snow of the season. Draw the water on your 2nd Funky Bingo Round Card and you got an auto-win, even if you didn't BINGO, and 2 if you did. PLEASE make it clear if it's just an ART BONUS WIN.

Located on the Heritage Shores property but open to all, Sugar Beet hosts Funky Bingo the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month —free to play, with prizes that scale by attendance. 🎶 The crowd brought the energy, with 59 players and a few “Others” joining in.
