An Irish band wrapped up right before showtime, which meant their entire audience drifted into our space like a green‑clad tide. Census came in at 137, plus 20 or 30 others who weren’t playing but were absolutely committed to standing exactly where I needed to walk. I wore my kilt because if you’re going to host a St. Patrick’s Day show, you might as well lean in. Several players reminded me to “guard my bits” when I sat down, which is the kind of community support you just can’t buy. Thanks for that! (No mention if my bits were seen or this was just preventative advice!) We opened with British Invasion, which hit perfectly after the fiddles stopped. Sugar Beet Market showed up big for the last Funky Bingo night — the kind of evening where everyone walked in already laughing and at least three people announced they were “feeling lucky” before the first card even hit the table. Round 1 kicked off a brief celebration of Mardi Gras with player "Knuckles" (?) as our first winner of the night. T.S. grabbed the first bingo on 80’s 3 , and suddenly the whole room remembered how competitive they get when the music starts. Round 3 rolled into Tasty Tunes , where terri d snagged the first bingo and half the room tried to sing along even though the lyrics were… let’s call it “interpretive.” Round 4’s M an oh Man  failed to live up to its name when Lin hit the first bingo. Then came the prize round, where the spreadsheet decided to express itself creatively.
